Spring Clothing Drive | Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach
Transworld Electric hosted a Spring Clothing Drive at our office to give back to the local community. All donations were given to Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach and will be distributed to children and adults throughout the community.
Our Lady of Mercy Community Outreach is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has been an anchor in the Sea Island community since before Hurricane Hugo in 1989 and in the eastside of Charleston at the Neighborhood House for over 100 years. They operate two campuses – one on Johns Island that serves residents of Johns, James, and Wadmalaw Islands, and the other in the Eastside Community of downtown Charleston. Their core values are:
-
Compassion – Serving with a spirit of charity, love, and understanding
-
Inclusiveness – Committing to ensuring diversity and acceptance of all people
-
Dignity – Treating individuals with respect and honesty in all situations
-
Empowerment – Achieving results through teamwork and partnership
-
Integrity – Conducting ourselves in a highly ethical manner and serving as good stewards of our resources
Thank you to our Transworld family who came together to make our Spring Clothing Drive a success!
